Let Me Choose

 

I clearly see two endings in my unclear future,

There’s one that’s sad and shameful and one that is happy and proud.

There’s one that I’m regretful for not fighting for my future,

And one that I smiling for embracing both education and the culture.

There’s one that I’m a source of pride for my husband and children,

And one where my husband looks at my children as a source of cows,

I look above and I see the happy ending that I ought to have,

And then I look below to see the sad ending that I can become.

For any price, I’m ready to pay,

just to be free to choose the ending I desire.
